4G RF Transceivers
The RF transceiver is responsible for down-converting received signals from Radio Frequency (RF) to baseband frequency, and up-converting the transmitted signal in the opposite direction.
Altair's FourGee RFIC portfolio includes rf transceivers for LTE, WiMAX, and XGP, and supports TDD as well as FDD in all relevant 4G frequency bands worldwide. The FourGee transceivers are implemented in a 'single conversion' architecture, which significantly simplifies system design and reduces the bill of materials.
All FourGee transceivers are designed and manufactured in a low cost CMOS process, are optimized for interfacing with FourGee baseband processors, and excel in high sensitivity and power efficiency.
